    Pros

    -Progressive benefits
    -Solid senior leadership
-Casual environment with work hard/play hard mentality

    Cons

-Certain areas of the business use numbers as a smoke screen rather than driving better business decisions
-Middle management decisions are quite often questionable and short sighted

    Advice to Management

-Proven leaders in middle management should be valued more and kept.
-Better decisions need to be made about which leaders should remain or go. Too many poor managers according to peer and direct reports are kept due to cronysim.

I worked at CSG International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay, good benefits, long tenured employees

    Cons

Environment is very competitive but not in a good way. CSG used to have more of a family environment, people cared about other people. Now its very political, everyone trying to get ahead and they don't care what they do to get there.

    Advice to Management

Stop the madness that has happened. You know the people I speak of, they are not good for CSG, yet they keep getting promoted. Think of the little guy, the one that works their butt off for years at the company in the same job. Appreciate them as well. They deserve it - Not everyone wants to be in management, but they do want appreciation for the hard work they do.

I have been working at CSG International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

CSGI is a very safe work environment. It's very solid as a company, has a solid industry position, and offers a variety of roles. CSGI is leading edge but not bleeding edge, and you don't walk on eggshells on a daily basis wondering if today is the day the hammer is going to drop. The people are great, and the atmosphere is as casual as the dress code.

    Cons

CSGI is a very safe work environment. It's difficult to be bleeding edge and safe. It's difficult to have all "A players" and have a safe environment. And maintaining a safe environment is to reduce the presence of risk, so sometimes it feels like what's going on at CSGI is not always in sync with what's going on in the rest of the tech world.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage reasonable risk.
