    Pros

The senior software developers here are really nice. The summer outing is really fun. The MSDN subscription is nice. FREE POPCORN <3

    Cons

My boss/ scrum master had no idea how to be a servant leader. He never took the time understand any of any of the issues I faced. The team I was on was in complete chaos all the time.
Promotions seemed to be based on friendships. If I stayed here I would have been a level 1 developer for 10 years. It is definitely the type of place you have to leave and then come back to get a raise.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to empower jr. developers! Invest in training managers to work with jr. developers.

I worked at CSG International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Casual dress code, great benefits and outstanding new facility in Omaha.

    Cons

Layoffs are frequent and without any rhyme or reason. (Quick to fire veterans and new employees alike) Workers fear for their jobs constantly, and are very quick to fend for themselves; This crushes any sort of "team" collaboration-based environment, and harms ever level of the company. Company is generally disliked by customers, creating a difficult work setting, especially for those who are customer facing.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach and practice "open communication" with your employees. 10 years ago, the company would gather quarterly for an open discussion on that quarter's financial situation. That is long a thing of the past, and employees who are left in the dark are left speculate constantly.

    Pros

decent pay. casual dresscode. nice facilities

    Cons

Frequent layoffs. Starting to feel like another ‘FDR’. Its not what you know. Its WHO you know.

    Advice to Management

Break up the good old boy network. Get out and talk to the employees. The overall mood is very negative. Most employees do not feel valued or feel like they have job security.

    Pros

    Nothing
Stay until you find a better job and move on

    Cons

By the year end if they don't have business they plan to do lay offs.
They need to take care of employees and come up with new ideas rather than laying off people to meet there year end budget success

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Zero growth potential at this place.

    Cons

Worst place for immigrants - specifically south east Asians. They will severely underpay you because they sponsor your visa/green card. Also once you get your GC you will be asked to repay the GC expenses if you leave within a year of receiving it(technically even after having spent years on I140 stattus.)

I worked at CSG International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are nice people who work at CSG International and I'm happy to call some of them friends.

    Cons

CSG International has a serious problem with the 'good ol boys' network. Cronyism is rampant in most technical leadership positions of the company. As a result, many management level employees are simply inept in most respects.
