    Pros

    Good Family Benefits, Midwestern Culture

    Cons

Don't try to climb the corporate ladder here- there are people who have been hanging onto their rung for decades. Try another ladder.

    Advice to Management

    Create more career advancement opportunities

  6. "Ok job until you find another one."

    Pros

Stable, overtime available, breakfast on fridays, schedule, possibility for bonus.

    Cons

No real opportunities for advancement, schedule, pay, uncaring, training, didn't feel like all the hard work was worth it or truly recognized.

    Advice to Management

Businesses aren't in the business of keeping people employed but happy employees are one of the most meaningful metrics in business and you fall flat here. Used to be a good company that valued your employees now it's about filling openings with a number for as little as possible.

I worked at CSG International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The opportunity to work with Tier 1 clients was amazing along with some of the best people that I have had the good fortune to call my colleagues.

    Cons

There is no career path laid out for most roles; in fact, there isn't really any career development going on at all. Employees are working harder with less and trying to hold on to their jobs for dear life.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to grow the CSG offering to make it more appealing to customers. Recognize that you have to invest in your people if you want to retain them.

    Pros

Fun and young co-workers. Beer Fridays. Good pay.

    Cons

Almost everything. Absent managers, little room for growth and work that moves at a snail's pace.

I worked at CSG International full-time

    Pros

    Big head office departments support.
    Lots of standards and procedures.
Strong cable industry income in US.
    Strong data center business.
    Weak in international business.

    Cons

Unstable income in the highly competitive telecommunication space.
If this year the profit is good, you are safe, but no or limited raise.
If this year the book is in red, you are in survivor mode.
What you have done in previous years does not matter.
The layoff culture is just business as usual for this company.

    Advice to Management

Managers are running around, don't know who have talent and who are pretending.
The yearly performance review is waste of time. Doesn't matter whether you are outstanding or average, everyone have the same raise, and everyone is not immune next year.
The products are no good and are not selling. Need new products with the latest technology.
Punishing the employees won't help the products.
