I have been working at CSI Printing and Graphics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Management is very supportive of those willing to contribute and have personal humility. Personal life and family are put in high regard and continual learning is encouraged. They have very competitive benefits and compensation.

    Cons

This is not a place for those looking to "fly under the radar" or maintain average performance. The culture can be very frustrating for those who need constant encouragement or coaching.

    Advice to Management

Continue to encourage the vision and expect A-level performance, don't compromise to underachievement or entitlement culture.

    Pros

Driven. Well managed but for the issue referred to below.

    Cons

Technical training and advancment opportunity lacking particularly for those without a background in either electrical or, mechanical engineering. An poor understanding of hazardous conditions with regard to static body positioning and repetetive stress, by those charged with safety oversight has and can in the future lead to cumulative joint injuries.

    Advice to Management

Learn all that you can with regard to human anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. It would be of great service to you in preventing future injury to your employees. If it's easier for you as engineers, use the reductionist model. Begin to develop an understanding of proper body positioning and ergonomics.

    Pros

They are very generous with bonuses when things are going well. They also take time to explain things in great detail so you are very informed, like benefits or a job or anything relating to the company. Also, managers are very easy to talk to and willing to listen to you.

    Cons

I don't think I was ever thanked once while I worked there. While they weren't stingy with money, they sure were with compliments or praise. Which is odd in my opinion, because words don't cost anything.

    Advice to Management

Make the employees feel appreciated with some kind words every so often. Also, work harder to promote good employees, instead of just sticking by "friends" for promotions and management jobs.
