    I worked at CSR Limited as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Acheivements noticed. Hard work encouraged & rewarded. Meetings with management regularly to discuss enjoyment, etc. Actively encouraging compassionate management.

    Cons

    Occasional management issues, but no more than any other workplace.

    A nice and safe working environment with friendly staff and workers that are willing to help you and achieve your goal.

    Cons

    Some leading hands are sometimes harsh, aggressive and don't have teaching skills to new employees. some form of racism do exist topple with bullying and plotting the downfall of each other on site.

    Advice to Management

    The management should view the cameras once every month to monitor the activities of workers on site. Most long time employee sometimes take advantage over new employee be it casual or permanent. And management should carry on one on one interaction with employees to to the what's going on at the work place.

    Pros

    - Large company but with human size
    - Very focus on safety within their manufacturing division
    - Chance to progress your career within the company
    - Invest money within their manufacturing tools

    Cons

    - Although current CEO is quite modern, the middle and senior management (business unit GM and below) are very traditional in their approach to management.

    Pros

    The people, such a humbling company, great support, very limited egos
    12% super is a bonus!
    Very engaging management team
    Very driven organisation
    Team work is second nature

    Cons

    There are still at times some 'old school' thinking - which is slowly being ironed out

    Advice to Management

    Make sure you stay relevant - embrace technology, don't say 'no it will cost to much', be willing to take risks!
    But above all else - keep up the good job, you guys are a great bunch!

    Well paid, great conditions, good hours of work, no weekend work, always overtime, great staff to work with, excellent employer

    Cons

    To many managers, feel like your constantly being watched at times as managers at times have little to do so they go looking for people that look like they aren't doing anything

    high tecnical skills, interesting and advanced projects, state of the art solutions for advanced communication systems, free time for work based on targets

    Cons

    limited carreer development for people that have just started on the job, not investing too much on training and people

    listen other people advices, no long term vision for young people working on the company is not very motivating and encouraging
