    Pros

    Friendly atmosphere, good managers. Careful corporate behind us, good benefits, reasonable pay, easy job, just need to be patient and thoughtful.

    Cons

    Handling too much cash, supervising employees every day, the weird customers, struggling with merchants and vendors. Stocking and merchandising a lot.

    Advice to Management

    It's always good to take care of lower employees, the bottom of the pyramid keeps it stranded. We need to delight more customers so we need to delight our employees as well

    I worked at CST Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Compensation and bonus potential. The company promoted a lot of its talent from within and has some longevity which initially attracted me to the company in the first place.

    Cons

    The company is being acquired by Circle K, therefore the status of all support roles are TBD. With the holidays approaching, it had caused some tensions in the field with workers.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff members and be consistent with directives.

    Expanded too fast too soon resulted in the selling of the company and loss of so many jobs.

    Pros

    Get to work with some wonderful people, get to know a cross section of the community, and feel valued as a "front line" Manager.

    Cons

    Sometimes find it difficult to fully staff my store for coverage, added stress of meeting daily requirements as a result.
