Pros
The people are a massive pro. Everyone I've met at CTI has been awesome, incredibly supportive and receptive to feedback. It feels like my department genuinely wants to make sure I'm enjoying my work and want to do everything they can to help me thrive as a developer. The work, while often challenging, is varied and interesting and being able to contribute to some big projects for some impressive clients has been an awesome experience so far! I'm looking forward to seeing what else comes my way in the future!
Cons
There have been times where I've had to split myself across multiple projects in a given day, which can be quite difficult to manage, but the department is aware that this is the case and that it's not exclusive to myself, and are working on taking steps to make sure this improves! Being a remote worker and so far from the office can also sometimes feel a little isolating, but hopefully that shouldn't be a problem for too much longer!
Thank you for your lovely review - it's great to hear that your department really cares about your job satisfaction and career progression. If there's anything you think we could be doing that would help the fully remote based employees, please do let us know, we love to get ideas and feedback from everyone. As you said, we are aware of the difficulties of being split across multiple projects in a given day and are working on improvements to make things better on this front :)

Varied workload in a supportive, exciting environment
Feb 21, 2023 - Content LeadRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- No two days are the same - varied workload keeps things fresh. - 6 CPD days per year - opportunities to learn new skills, entirely on your own terms. - Supportive atmosphere - colleagues across the agency are always keen to help out with issues or questions. We're encouraged to experiment and learn, rather than to get everything right first time. - Exciting range of clients - some of our projects span huge international giants, whilst others allow us to work closely with small independent businesses. - Great office - the office, based in Ancoats, Manchester, is the envy of all our clients and guests who come to visit! It's a comfortable, friendly, and inspiring space. - Bonuses are available on a range of different schemes, motivating people to work hard and achieve results at all levels - Staff socials encourage the team to come together across different teams - Clear work-life balance - we're encouraged only to work our contracted hours and to seek support from a range of schemes if required.
Cons
- Fast-paced agency environment isn't for everyone. - For some people, remote working as standard can feel a little closed off (which is why the hybrid model works well!)

Excellent company to work for
Mar 16, 2023 - Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Manchester, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Culture is great - I didn't meet anyone unfriendly. There was great support from management who put a real focus on my development as an SDR ensuring I had a solid understanding of the services that CTI Digital offer. Lots of flexibility in terms of hours and remote work. The office is the best I've seen - super modern with games tables to entertain you during break, plenty of breakout rooms, massive monitors and fancy coffee machines etc. Regular social occasions organised such as pool tournaments and football games.
Cons
As someone who likes to work in the office, the WFH flexibility means that the office can be very quiet on certain days.

Pros
Manchester office is really modern and love the hybrid/remote working model, I have a great work life balance as a result. Everyone is so approachable, I work well with my team and feel like I have a clear career path in place here.
Cons
I think the benefits offered could be further improved (e.g. better maternity/paternity pay or private healthcare) but otherwise nothing else

Highly successful, growing agency
Feb 21, 2023 - Head of Performance Marketing in Lancaster, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There are many positives to working at CTI Digital, but by a country mile, it's the people within the business. The wider group is littered with fantastically talented people who will go above and beyond to help anybody out.
Cons
No real cons, sometimes the world's coolest coffee machines take a temporary break though

Great work life balance.
Feb 21, 2023 - Anonymous Employee in Manchester City Centre, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great collaborative and inclusive team - very flat structure within the agency, ensures everyone can contribute and collaborate. Enviable client list where I feel I can make a real impact.
Cons
Since Covid people are not coming into the office 5 days a week which I miss but when we are all in there's such a buzz.

Pros
Complex projects and supportive technical leads

Very little planning of projects and amateur resourcing planning and allocation

Senior HR Manager
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review your time at the company. It is fairly standard practice that an agency would use a central resourcing system to manage people's time who work on projects such as developers, QA, strategists, performance marketing, brand communications, creative design, project management. We are in the process of upgrading our systems (which is common knowledge across the company) so that is something that is already being addressed. I'm pleased that you did find some positives of working here - such as the project complexities and the supportive colleagues you had across the technical leadership. I do not feel that the "amateur resourcing planning and allocation" is a true reflection of the hard work and effort of particular employees who look after this area of the business - I recognise it's unlikely I will be able to change your thoughts on this. As mentioned before, we're continually looking at operational improvements. I am a little surprised by low scores for most areas when your review focuses solely on project planning and resourcing - there are plenty of opportunities for employees to progress their careers - whether that is through a linear pathway of promotions or through a move into a different department and learning new skills. Our ED&I committee, whilst sponsored at board-level, is employee-led and already providing a lot of input and value to the overall company. If you have any suggestions on how we could improve our benefits package, please do detail it in your exit interview or you can drop an email over to our HR team. Thanks :)

Fast paced and great team
Feb 23, 2023 - Support Services Director in Manchester, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The people, the varied projects and clients. No day is the same or boring.
Cons
Fast pace and many roles require the ability to multitask, which is not everyone's cup of tea or easy to do.

Senior HR Manager
Thank you for your review! It's the nature of agency life isn't it with the fast pace but it's lovely that it is balanced out with such project variety. We hope you continue to enjoy developing your career here with us and will take the feedback onboard and identify any ways we could offset the fast pace more :)

Bad management no Rapor building
Feb 20, 2023 - Web Team in Manchester, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Use many different technologies being used
Cons
If they want you out they will look for a reason even if they need to make something up. Not good for confidence, career, or mental health. Management will side with colleagues even if they have been found to be lying or openly twisting the truth.
