I worked at CTS Corporation (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large call volume and always busy.

    Cons

I worked as an interpreter at CTS for 3 years, averaging 4-5 hours/day and had been a great interpreter with lots and lots of compliments from clients everyday. One day, I received an email from the interpreter supervisor. In the letter she stated that a client wrote a complaint about me but she did not specify what the complaint was about. The letter stated that CTS terminated my work right away. I was shocked. I was an experienced interpreter for over 10 years. And yes, I know people made mistakes and that included me. What I felt wrong was that CTS did not even make a call to me or explain what went wrong. After many years of hard work at CTS, I received a cold email telling me to stop working right away! I had never experienced such unprofessional behavior like that before. I emailed The supervisor back and asked for further explanation but never got any email back. I was very disappointed about CTS. That was very rude and unfair for me!

    Advice to Management

Please take your time to work with people and respect your devoted employees.

Crooked CEO. Drama drama drama. Management has no control. 3 tier union shop. Management has no control. Lots of bullying that doesn't get taken care of. Since announcement of closing they've been hiring temps. Not doing background checks. Lots of fighting and threatening. Jobs going to 3rd word countries. Company is going to hell in a hand basket.

I worked at CTS Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some good dedicated people. They pay well for the location.

    Cons

Many third-rate employees. Many good people leave. Tremendous waste with rework and scrap. Was working with the worst programmer ever. He did not know how to use a "class" which is a basic building block of software code. He stuffed his horrible code into VB.NET modules, with hundreds of global variables. The results were not good. He has been doing this for many years. The building is an old dump with no amenities.

    Advice to Management

Stamp out waste or die! Get out of that dumpy old building. You might attract better people if the building was not dirty and dilapidated. Many managers are incompetent. Budgets are starved but waste goes unabated.
