I worked at CVR Associates part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved the co-workers I worked with and the culture they have setup. As a developer, everyone in the office respected my space and quiet time.

I was a part-time junior developer and learned so much from CVR and my seniors that definitely allowed for me to grow.

    Cons

Not getting to know everyone around the office (partially due to being part-time).

I worked at CVR Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There really are not many.

    Cons

    They use outdated technology

The management is some of the most belittling people that you will ever work for.

All of your targets are moving and will change without notice

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat people. Direction and training goes a long way. You are not the smartest people in every room.

I have been working at CVR Associates full-time

    Pros

There are some management that employees feel comfortable approaching for help without fear of potentially losing their job because they don't know. It's nice when we are all able to talk to each other and laugh.

    Cons

Upper management will walk in a room full of employees and customers and won't speak, look at you, or even acknowledge your presence or the customers. Not enough examples of what is required of employees. Lack of professionalism, teambuilding, or happiness. You feel caught sharing a laugh with one of your peers. 8

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep and value good staff, there needs to be a change in management and the way incompetent managers train staff. There is a definite lack of personal growth development with the lack of support coming from higher up. When I was first hired people were more relaxed. Now everyone is so strung out, it use to be an enjoyable and stress free environment. The hiring of incompetent managers and lack of action to new processes that affect employees when needed brings down the morale and motivation of current employees. There is a definite tension in the air and unhappiness on the floor with a lot of voices unheard due to the fear of employees losing their jobs and managers making their life harder. I blame the department for weak hiring, weak management as well as weak career developments. There is no employees input from something as simple as a survey.
