    Pros

good company to work for flexible hour, flexible people, not the most exciting job though, needs higher pay and more managment

    Cons

Its cvs not much to expect working here. Solid base job, honestly writing this review so I can acess the full version of this site which is rather annoying so heres my 20 word response

    Advice to Management

Pay employees more and give mroe flexible ohours most people were not to concerned about customers because of such.Otherwise not a bad place to work at all

I have been working at CVS Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They seem to appreciate their Veterinary Nurses, and provide plenty of CPD opportunities, including their MiNurse Academy. They are also willing to fund additional qualifications too.
They appear to listen to concerns regarding working hours, and are very willing to change these as needed.
They pay for registration with the RCVS, and membership of the BVNA.
They offer participation in their share-save scheme to all members of staff (although I have yet to take advantage of this), and also provide a company pension.
    Staff discounts are decent enough.

    Cons

We can't access/provide certain products/medications, but I think this is standard with any veterinary corporate.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if the annual CVS conference was open to ALL members of staff, not just the clinical directors, practice managers and head nurses!
But on the whole, I'm happy! Keep up the good work guys

I have been working at CVS Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people, the training & development, the high number of part-time opportunities.

    Cons

Work life balance is always difficult in the veterinary industry because of the demands of the profession. There is no easy way to fix this but its good to see more opportunities for flexible working coming up.

    Advice to Management

    Increase maternity pay.

    Pros

Ignore the reviews. CVS Group is a veterinary company in the UK, they are not a US pharmacy.

    Cons

They do not value staff at all.

    Advice to Management

    Use some discretion
