    Pros

Flexibility with your schedule and opportunities to grow with the company.Daily tasks were simple such as greet customers know what products are in which aisles.

    Cons

Some of the cons at cvs would be not having enough employees scheduled so at times u have to multi task.

    Advice to Management

    Be more productive

I have been working at CVS Health part-time

    Pros

    Coworkers are nice
Not bad for those looking for a part-time thing, especially for students

    Cons

Training was done with no structure
Everyone is overworked , hence the lack of quality training
Working late night, then having to work early morning the next day
Too few employees, sometimes there will only be on person at the register
Couponing is the bane of all cvs worker's work life

    Advice to Management

Training is one of the key components of any job, good training can create good employees and higher employee retention rates. Putting too many tasks onto only a few employees will cause them to become stressed and want to find another job.

I have been working at CVS Health part-time

    Pros

Flexible schedule, little resistance for requesting days off. Great employee discount.

    Cons

Bare minimal training. No emphasis on team-building or employee engagement. Staff hours are very lean. Schedule is often posted 2-3 days before it begins.

    Advice to Management

Spending more time engaging your employees. Happy employees make happy customers.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The starting hourly wage for a cashier is $9/hr. Great crew will make your job less stressful and more production. Fortunately, my manager is kind.

    Cons

The store is always understaffed, which means there are only two employees per shift., the cashier and shift manager. This means that the cashier is responsible for the the photo and cosmetics aisles as well. Basically, cashiers do the work of three people. It is high-stressed and fast paced.

    Advice to Management

Please, hired more people for shift so employees do not get burnt out.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People were friendly, the job was fairly easy

    Cons

the Management at the store I was at was subpar and employees were often doing tasks in very inefficient ways. The pay also bad, but that was expected.

    Advice to Management

Make the receipts shorters, give out less coupons (it tends to back up customer lines and make everyone angry)

I have been working at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co workers and customers are usually very nice interview was easy. Store manager very friendly.

    Cons

All you do (at least at my location) is ring register. always have to go on breaks early. It wouldnt be a big deal but when you working 3-12am I dont feel like i should take my ONLY 30min break at 5(usually 2 hours into shift). All you do is register, you wont do anything stocking so if like standing at the register (usually by urself after 6) for 7 half hours this is the job for you. Also calling out when you really cant come in is such a problem because (at least at my location which is a flag ship store) they have 8 or more ppl for morning and mid shifts but from 7 to midnight there 2 employees which are the closers so when 1 calls out they try make u feel bad. Also they play favorites. Ppl who supervisors like get the holidays and sundays and never close basically the good shifts. The schedule is made 3weeks in advance so trying to schedule a day off is complicated.Lastly cvs gives all the work to supervisors which goes back to point i made earlier about wanting to do more. All they do is stock aisles and they act like regular employees can't do it

    Advice to Management

I think management should spread out the work. Meaning oneday you might be cashier next day you might be stocking. Spread out the sundays and holidays stop giving to the same people everytime.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, good pay, relaxed environment (at my store). All in all I was thankful for the job at the time, but would prefer to not go back.

    Cons

Boring work (for my personality), hours limited by corporate to prevent benefits, corporate standards and regulations hard on managers/supervisors, which could make it hard for us under them.

    Advice to Management

Work to support, reward, and encourage the employees more.
