I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Helping people on a daily basis on their path to better health. People are normally not at their physical best when they come in and very customer, every visit is an opportunity to help them out.

    Cons

Some of the redundant practices that are repeated. However, every company has them and, by far, these not only pale in comparison to the rewards but are a minimal inconvenience.

    Advice to Management

Do not worry about applying to CVS Health if you are not ready to put the hard work in that will be required. While it is a satisfying career, it will take a dedication to hit the ground running everyday. You must possess motivation, dedication, merchandising skills, and the ability to adapt to systematical changes as well as day to day barriers and challenges.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    No scrubs
    Many fill stations
    10 cent raise yearly

    Cons

Not flexible for college students, unfair pay, horrible management

    Advice to Management

When a tech works for 3 years and is certified they deserve to get paid more than an new hire with no experience.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Discounts and Insurance and schedule flexability

    Cons

Hours worked, workload and threat of robberies

    Advice to Management

Get more hours in the store. If you have a cashier quit and not allowed overtime the Store Manager works those shifts. I work on avg. 70 hours a week to keep my store nice with the heavy workload

I worked at CVS Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Employee discount, assistant manager seemed to understand everyone was unhappy, but still couldn't do anything about it.

    Cons

No room for advancement, but management always expected minimum wage workers to do management duties with no pay, terrible benefits, terrible pay. Had multiple store managers fired in-store for stealing.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You don't have to worry about work outside of CVS. Work a two work rotating set schedule. Pay is okay. Benefits are average to slightly better.

    Cons

No tech help. No empowerment from management. I've worked over 6 months with out my supervisor calling to see how things were going. No acknowledgement for having good weeks. They only point out the bad numbers and what's not great. I go in early always and stay late typically to get things done.

    Advice to Management

Give more tech hours. Don't expect pharmacists to work for free and go in an hour early and then stay an hour or two late. Empower moving up in the company.

They usually had 40 hours with a shift that stayed the same. Discount card. They have a union. Good benefits. Alot of exercise.

    Cons

They acted like everything was to be done very fast and most of the others were sitting down. They have tests continually that are difficult.

Not many good reasons. Discount on products is about it.

    Cons

Scrappy pay and you work your butt off. Backstabbing, favoritism, false promises. Pay raises of 30 cents a year.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at your good employees and reward them.
