I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are none! I repeat there are none!

    Cons

Management is decent, The supervisors are awful 98% of them do not do anything besides sit in there cube and eat, all while micro managing. Crappy Hours usually not very accommodating. Supervisors expect you to take all the verbal abuse you get from callers and if you raise your voice in the slightest they threaten termination. Supervisors can care less about anyone but themselves!

    Advice to Management

Fire all the supervisors and bring in supervisors that care and you wouldn't have so many mad employees

I have been working at CVS Health (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good Benefits, pay is descent, great if you have no social or home life and looking to sell your soul.

    Cons

No family work balance. District Manager only supports high volume store. Huge work load based on a 2 on 2 crew, if someone calls off you will never catch up. All about the stockholders. If you are willing to work 65 hours plus a week, you will love this job.

    Advice to Management

Give more payroll to store to get the job done.

    Pros

There is not much I can say that is positive other than maybe the employee discount, making friends and getting to know the customer.

    Cons

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Long hours, no payroll, minimum staffing which makes getting anything done a nightmare, over worked, out of touch with reality, idiot customer service programs like denying the use of coupons that can't scan, very little positive encouragement from district managers. This company really is a horrible place to work. A Fortune 7 company you would think they would invest in the most important asset, their employees.

    Advice to Management

Realize how out of touch you are with what it actually takes to run a store and deliver outstanding service. You people have no clue.

I worked at CVS Health (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Real world experience for college students interested in a healthcare career

    Cons

extremely bureaucratic environment. The primary goal of the company is to get one more prescription filled rather than to provide quality care. Employees are expected to call patients each week to convince them to get one more refill. Employee performance is rated on how often they can get refills and how quickly can they get a patient out of the store.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Vacation adds up with full-time employment.

    Cons

Lack of employees, management does not treat their employees very well and your paid to do everything and more. Pay is not enough for the amount of work given to you. Dying to find another job.

    Advice to Management

Increase the pay rate because the amount of work that is given is ridiculous for the amount that I get paid. Its funny how the higher up you are the less work you do.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Depending on the Manager, you might get muffins from time to time.
You might be lucky to have great co-workers.

    Cons

Most clerks know more about how to run the store than Managers.
Working 8+ hours standing up at the cashier.
Getting scolded if you are not at the designated cash register at all times with a big smile on your face (even if the store is empty).
    Not open to new ideas.

    Advice to Management

Take some time to learn all aspects of the job, not just office work.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

15% discount on items not on sale, hours are good.

    Cons

Expect you do do 3 peoples job, you have to clean bathrooms, managers don't care about employees.

I have been working at CVS Health (More than a year)

    Pros

Good employee benefits: health insurance, vacation

    Cons

Numerous programs, daily tasks and little to no employee's to complete them. Instead of minimizing the loads they keep increasing and not giving stores enough hours to have more than 2 employees on any given shift.

I worked at CVS Health full-time

    Pros

I don't know i was not here long enough to know the benefits of working here, i left into my 3ard week of training.

    Cons

If you are someone who does not like stringent rules about staying at your desk for 8 hours.
An open mind about suggestions in doing things differently this is not the company for you.
If you are ok about staying glued to a desk for your shift and repeating the same script time after time to patients you will be fine here.
You are rated for your time on the phone and the amount if calls you complete on your shift.
I took this job thinking i can talk to patients and make a difference. Not so,like something out of the 70's.
I was in tears when i left here
Was intimidated by team lead, mixed messages. Seemed to use scare tactics for evaluation of your job, most people i trained with were scared to death to be kicked out of the program. For 13.50 an hour i walked out and have not looked back.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together, too big for management and training to keep up with constant change so training is all over the place.
Onboarding was horrible. My hyphenated name caused all kinds of problems with my pay and class log on id's. Weeks to get act together.
