    A lot of red tape to get employee raises
    Sometimes talent in the company is overlooked for talent found elsewhere which rarely meets expectations
    Many internal employees make substantially less than newly hired employees, particularly in the store manager role.

    Advice to Management

    Spend more time finding talent within the company. Sometimes the process for being promoted actually works against replacing talent when needed.

    Pros

    Great pay and benefits. Also reward programs and discount at CVS stores.

    Cons

    Had to tell white lies to customers because either the fax was backed up with RX prescriptions or the old pass the buck.

    Advice to Management

    Find a better way to document rx's received daily to csrvreps.

    Pros

    There is no micromanaging with time schedules. I have the flexibility to work early or late in the day. This helps with work life balance.

    Cons

    It is easy to get pulled in too many directions. It can be difficult to prioritze what is most important.

    Advice to Management

    I am concerned that we are not giving client facing positions enough resources.

    Flexibility in work schedule, continual online training, 401k benefits for part-time employees (with annual hours met requirement)

    Cons

    Limited career progression in retail/pharmacy, ocassionally understaffed due to callouts/poor scheduling, training opportunities in position greatly dependent on supervisor, cash registers/computer systems can crash intermittently creating significant problems as you are still expected to service customers

    Advice to Management

    Create a concrete career ladder for pharmacy technicians, GOT Heart program great concept but needs to be better recognized/executed on technician level. Techs can get constant 5 star ratings for myimpact but it doesn't have any significance personally (no bonus,raise,or management recognition)... Surveys deemed important none-the-less, Phone app. is great; however need more customer awareness. Keep striving for making efficiency/quality changes within pharmacy (i.e. system) your employees and customers will thank you.
