I worked at CVS Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pharmacists are a capable bunch. They know how to do their job. They also have mandatory lunches for shifts over 6 hrs for techs.

    Cons

Management seems to only care about the numbers and how the reports affect their own pay. Not about the patients.

    Advice to Management

    Care about the customer

I have been working at CVS Health full-time

    Pros

Discount. Retail experience. Easy promotion into management team

    Cons

Unreasonable stipulations with inadequate payroll. Depending on your store manager is how great or awful your job will be

    Advice to Management

Get the experience, but unless you want a career with CVS, use your experience to go elsewhere. They're pay is much less than their competition and not worth the daily turmoil you will go through

I have been working at CVS Health as an intern (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pros include the benefits of working in a retail pharmacy in that you provide patient care.

    Cons

Everything is a metric (unlike other retail pharmacies); lack of support from corporate level; unrealistic work load, especially with the few amount of tech hours.

    Advice to Management

Provide answers to questions that are asked instead of pharmacists having to rely on each other for answers when everyone is so busy and may or may not actually be able to provide those type of answers since they are related to the every changing corporate expectations.

Nice work environemt. Not much to learn. Good to begin with a career. Always evaluated and tested and you might even get a little raise of 0.12%

    Cons

Too much responsabilities for not so good pay. They avoid to make you full time so they do not have to give benefits.
