I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice work environemt. Not much to learn. Good to begin with a career. Always evaluated and tested and you might even get a little raise of 0.12%

    Cons

Too much responsabilities for not so good pay. They avoid to make you full time so they do not have to give benefits.

I worked at CVS Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tons of new things to learn. Room for advancement in the company. Good amount of vacation time once you're full time. You become super valuable to the store because you can play almost any role in the store.

    Cons

Hours. Our hours constantly got cut back so that would put strain on the employees especially in pharmacy. Higher ups didn't care to realize customer complaints based on how long scripts get done have to deal with there only being enough hours to have a pharmacist and tech on a shift. Especially during peak hours. Insanity.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent discount on products. I believe it was 30% off CVS brand products and 20% off everything else. It's a job that's pretty easy to get, so it is ideal as a first job for teenagers starting out.

    Cons

I was not a fan of the scheduling. It was very inflexible, and they rarely even allowed you to switch shifts with a coworker even if both parties were willing. I had a coworker who desperately needed a day off to attend a school orientation, but the manager refused to let him take the day off.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible with scheduling, especially if you have students working there.

I have been working at CVS Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible Scheduling, room for advancement, low pressure

    Cons

Advancement comes with moving stores, pay raises are minimal, lacks incentives

    Advice to Management

Motivate with more focus on concrete goals. And reward reaching those goals with more than just verbal commendation.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers are awesome. The CVS app allows customers to condense all of their orders into one allowing for quicker transactions. Some of the customers are very understanding.

    Cons

Most of the technology is outdated. Working in drive-thru, there is almost always a problem. Honestly I believe drive-thru should be done away with.
