I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is very good. You are held accountable for running a profitable store that provides great customer service.

    Cons

Not enough payroll to have a perfect store. There are too many silly metrics to chase after that have no direct correlation to improved profit or customer service performance.

    Advice to Management

Stop giving us silly metrics to chase. We can find we ways to cheat them, and they don't serve a functional purpose. We need 3 people per shift.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some parts of CVS are great places to work (anything pharmacy-related), and have many smart people, and good working environments. I have heard from peers that the retail side is not that great. Compensation is competitive, and the hours are great (I am on the the corporate side). The town halls are also a really great way to interact with leadership.

    Cons

They are a stingy company (eg. no complimentary coffee). It takes 3 months for benefits to START. And the health insurance offered is not that great (they only have high deductible plans for health insurance). They have large dividends to pay to shareholders, but they are continuously frugal to employees.

    Advice to Management

Make employees want to come to work by making it a nice place to work. Be a little more generous to employees. You may be able to reduce turnover at the corporate and store environments.
