    Pros

    Good benefits, somewhat flexible schedule

    Cons

Hard to move up past a shift position. They will use you if they see you working hard.

    Advice to Management

I worked at CVS Health (Less than a year)

    Pros

Health benefits, connect with neighbors, employee discount

    Cons

Management sucks, If you are an intelligent individual and work here you will be run off. I did a fantastic job, always on time, never missed a day. The customers loved me and I loved them. I was resented for doing a good job. The lesson I learned here and from my previous retail job was don't work at your top potential. That is why I was run off. Upper management will not help you.

    Advice to Management

I have no idea what you do with idiots that are managers.

I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Employee discounts
    -Employee benefits (i.e. Skillsoft books)
-Good learning experience (if you ever want to own you're own retail store CVS is a great place to work to sort of get insight what that might be like)

    Cons

-Hours (depending on the store's needs if you don't have seniority you'll probably get the worst shifts [i.e. evenings, weekends, and holidays])
-friendliness of customers (depending on the market you're in customers are sometimes very hard on you over company policies when in all honesty you're just doing your job

    Advice to Management

Be fair to all employees scheduling wise regardless of seniority. Alternate the not so popular shifts. I believe this would attract more millennials to work for CVS and improve employee retention.

I worked at CVS Health (More than a year)

    Pros

They certainly prepare their employees for the job.

    Cons

The manager didn't care about her employees and upper management didn't do anything when notified about some problems her employees had with her.

    Advice to Management

When you call all hours of the day and ask to speak to the manager and she is never there, maybe investigate and find out why!

I have been working at CVS Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling easy to get time off

    Cons

Does not always respect availability or want to progress into higher roles. I've been working here for a few years and usually working 30ish hours but because i initially was hired part time it is very difficult to acquire a full time status on paper and begin to receive benefits.

    Advice to Management

Make internal movements and job status changes easier for in store management, as DMs truly have no idea of the in store operations for each store. They should not be involved with instore promotions and adjustments

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible schedule
    Advancement opportunities
    Friendly coworkers
Could be an easy job sometimes

    Cons

    Poor health and dental insurance
    Long shifts
    Poor salary
Expectations are high but the salary is poor

    Advice to Management

Too much is expected from employees with little to no incentives. CVS increases your salary but at the same time they cut your hours.
