I worked at CVS Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Employee discount, schmoozing, sometimes people tell you you look nice. Good enough place to wing it when you screw up at college.

    Cons

Feet hurt, can't chase shoplifters, sometimes your boss tells you you look nice and texts you weird stuff about OkCupid.

    Advice to Management

Quit being jabronis IRL your online presence is unsettling/unnecessary after hours. Replace floors with Gak.

  2. "Think twice about working for CVS"

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I love the customers I am able to help in the pharmacy as well as the employees at the store level.

    Cons

CVS does not care about their employees. Raises come once a year and you are lucky enough to get a $.10 raise. Employee turnover rate is extremely high due to them not taking care of the employees. Expectations are outrageously high, yet there is barely enough hours allocated in the pharmacy to have decent coverage throughout the day. It leaves you constantly stressed and nothing is ever done to fix it. The employees at the store level are usually the only thing getting you through each day.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees -- actually think about them instead of caring about numbers all of the time. Once employees are happy to come to work everyday because management and corporate cares about them, CVS will see huge changes in sales, revenue and customer service.
