I have been working at Cable & Wireless Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Exposure to new and emerging technologies. Vendor specific training

    Cons

Too much is expected from individuals, it's a do more with less culture. Therefore quality of work output is not up to standard.

    Advice to Management

Provide more training. Proper definition of roles needed as current roles are too cross functional not allowing staff to perform at their maximum potential.

Large company with lots of opportunities for different roles, they have plenty of varied technology

    Cons

This company has been in a state of waiting to be bought for many years, liberty global are the likely candidate, so do not be shocked if there is no strategy

    Advice to Management

Stop gutting the workforce to bring opex costs to make the company look attractive, if this continues the shell that is left will be worthless
