    Pros

Casual dress code. That is about it. If the management likes you, they treat you differently than everyone else, but they still don't know what they are doing.

    Cons

This place is in a nosedive and anyone who has worked there agrees they wouldn't be surprised if they closed soon. They have no idea what they are doing with their products, their website, and certainly not their staff. They demand the world and the management's requests make no sense. No direction is given, and the only feedback given is negative. Management doesn't know what they are doing and it reflects in the company's overall performance.

    Advice to Management

Take an honest look at the company and maybe you will start to see improvements instead of making rash decisions with no research.

    I worked at Cableorganizer.com full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I don't have anything positive to say about the company in general.

    Cons

Management is childish and always working "against" instead of "along with", so you are basically set up to fail. Oh and check out the customer reviews, you may be in for some chuckles. This place is just a completely a toxic environment and not somewhere you should ever consider making your career, especially since there is no avenue for growth. The pay wasn't all that great either. You work tirelessly and then have to practically beg them to pay you your bonus (that's if they don't find an excuse as to why you don't deserve it). Employees are constantly backstabbing one another and not necessarily people that you can collaborate with so you are essentially on your own. It's just a big black hole of negativity. This company has been sinking ever since it's been acquired and unless there's an overhaul of the people, starting at the very top, it will tank.

    Advice to Management

My advice is to stop taking advantage of your good employees. Pay people what they are worth and employ quality people. You drove many valuable employees away with the current "Me, Myself and I" mentality. Be a leader who builds trust with their employees and customers not a boss who demands blind obedience.

  5. "Caution: Stay away at all costs"

    I have been working at Cableorganizer.com full-time

    Pros

I had to respond to this section last to give myself time to think of something constructive to say, but there honestly isn't anything. So I'll leave this as "n/a".

    Cons

Where do I start? Whether it's consistent management changes -- whether leaving for greener pastures due to toxic environment, or the almost record setting turnovers with employees who are not in management. The company's culture is nonexistent and the management is complacent in not doing anything for the hard working employees. Some of which stay long hours and are lucky to receive acknowledgement from the higher ups. Unnecessary emails to set some sort of line in the sand from the new management team to show their "dominance", only shows employees how much free time they have as opposed to actually doing like their occupation implies and -- I don't know, manage perhaps?

If you do consider a job here, just keep in mind of what it is -- a job. The ceiling is so visible in terms of advancement, you can practically see it when you arrive on interview day.

    Advice to Management

I would say clean house, but that's been done and that doesn't seem to be working in their favor. Training and proper grooming of candidates might help, but considering the phrase "a company is only as good as its leader", that must mean this company is doomed.

  6. "Not a good environment"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Pros

Promoted team work and had little events. Holiday party was very well done. Benefits were not great. Pay was decent.

    Cons

Upper management getting too involved in other departments and pulling people from their main responsibilities. Back stabbing. Over demanding management. No support from direct manager.

    Pros

    - No red tape
    - Management open to suggestions
    - Great co-workers

    Cons

    - Stressful at times
    - Marketing and IT not the strongest departments of the company

    Advice to Management

Invest in your top performers and let go of the poor performing ones. Invest in the development and growth of your employees.

Healthy work environment your gym membership is paid by the company.

    Cons

You can't be a passenger at CO only the drivers survive

The offices could use some freshening but management is working on it.

The small inward looking culture is taking too long to change

    Pros

A mid-size company that runs like a small business. CEO, COO, and CFO are approachable and good listeners and all have open door policies. Employees with a flair for the dramatic have gone away and the work environment has never been better.

    Cons

The physical office building is acceptable, but not grand, high end, or new.

    I worked at Cableorganizer.com full-time

    Pros

-Some of the employees are very down to earth individuals and just a joy to work with.
-Decent job to have while seeking a career
-Company is the right size to gain experience in many different areas
    -401K is generous
-there is an employee salary advance for hardships
-medical benefits are better than most small businesses
-Gym membership reimbursement (up to $15)

    Cons

-Constant decisions made in "higher management" that are not thought through and negatively impacts the company. This is usually because the CFO refuses to involve other department professionals that are knowledgeable in the area.
-Higher management refuses to take any responsibility for any failures and is consistently passing blame to other departments even if it doesn't make any sense.
-Most business hours are spent coming up with reports and proof that certain failures are not your fault.
-Chief Fin. Officer has the most unprofessional and awful attitude I've seen in a work place. The disrespect is extremely rude and disgusting.
-There is a large discrepancy as to what is reported
-No career path based on work. Promotions are almost non-existent. There are several employees that have been overlooked for positions they qualify for and have shown exemplary performance but are passed up while the promotion is given to individual(s) who have no experience/knowledge in the field/new employees
-Company will intentionally under pay workers drastically while their equal counter parts are paid substantially more. Based on what I've witness it pretty much goes If you don't know your underpaid why give you anything extra.

    Advice to Management

    -Lead by example
-Employees need to know that there are opportunities for growth based on experience and performance
-Get your CFO out of other departments business. If a VP is needed to oversee all department operations...hire an Operations Manager
-Show your employees that they are more than just filler whose salary is using up budget
This company use to be an amazing place to be a part of. People need to know that they are appreciated and that there is return for their hard work and efforts.
