I worked at Cablevision Systems as a contractor

    Pros

Great and friendly employees. Great place to work if consultants would also be considered as human beings.

    Cons

    Poor, inhumane and unprofessional management.

One of my co-workers (consultant) would bully me all the time for no reason. When I requested him not to make me embarrassed in front of others, he would say "you cannot work under pressure". I had never complained to anyone about the co-worker bullying me all the time. One Friday evening, I was shocked when my recruiter called me and told me that I was terminated from the project. He told me that he did not know the reason behind the termination. Instead, he asked me if I knew the reason but I was clueless. My guess was that my co-worker must have said something to my manager because I had warned the consultant not to use bad words against me, especially using my mother's name, while he was yelling at me the day before my termination. He was yelling at me because I was taking time to learn the process of the new project. I wished our manager would be there to see what was going on behind of his back. But I was terminated just because I raised the voice against workplace bullying. Otherwise, I had been completing and delivering each and every project before the deadline. This was the first time of termination in my entire life. I have always been a good employee and a good co-worker.

    Advice to Management

Do not listen to others until you find out the fact.
