I worked at Caché full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and that is about it. Nothing more.

    Cons

Unprofessional, more about friendship than work, they lied constantly and set up me up twice. My store manager told me never to tell anyone my age because I was the youngest but when conversations came up about college and birthdays she never tried to switch the subject. I would just start straightening the store which was interpreted BY HER as "you don't connect with the staff" even after explaining I "disconnect" when talking about AGE. She forced me to buy clothing with my first two paychecks even after I told her I was MOVING and was happy to buy them next month. She told me "you don't care about the brand and how can you be a manager when you don't buy the product". When she found out I had a great relationship with another store manager who allowed me to pick up hours, she started calling and cancelling my shifts WITHOUT telling me anything. She then told that manager that I STOLE MONEY from the register something stupid like .50 cents at a time and I was told about it. And more. She was a manager from UNDERGROUND and totally psychotic. Be her best friend or be prepared to be framed until you quit or are fired. The only way I stopped her is by documenting EVERYTHING and the DM told me I was to be "let go of" because I was causing too much "disturbance". She also claimed I would be paid through the week and refused to answer or call me back when that did not happen.

    Advice to Management

Learn to keep it professional. No one should be punished for follow your orders and you not supporting the outcome or even trying to diffuse situations. Fire any manager who has MULTIPLE Stores who call her "the devil". How could you NOT know about it?
