    Pros

    I had worked there for many years. Everyone was friendly, a pleasure reporting to work. Good open door policy.

    Cons

    Management wasn't good in keeping employees in the loop.

    Improve communication

    I have been working at Cadd Edge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    management's focus as been to get me up and running as fast as possible. we look at my comp plan and they are continually helping me to understand how to maximize my revenue. past jobs have done just the opposite. Transparency has been great!

    Cons

    last job was more micro managed and i kind of got used to that. i just need to adjust in having my own 'free will' to simply get my job done.

    Advice to Management

    continue to do what you're doing! refreshing to see the continual investment into the employess

    Pros

    Working for CADD Edge for the past 3 years has been a great experience. The technology is the best in the industry and the culture is fun. The COO and CEO are always available for question and all the people work hard. Overall, I enjoy working here.

    Cons

    The company has been growing incredibly fast for many years which requires change. You must be able to adapt to change as it's required to continue to grow. A lot is asked of the employees but an excellent work-life balance is provided.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to the employees.

    Pros

    I have been working at CADD Edge for almost two years now, great ambiance with awesome colleagues!

    The company has strong leadership and values and both the CEO and COO are very approachable and supportive. They offer generous vacation time together with good benefits.

    CADD Edge allows you to take ownership of your work and grow within the company.
    I see the negative reviews from disgruntled former employees and that is just what they are, oh well!

    I personally love working here or I wouldn’t drive over an hour each way.

    Cons

    It's a small company but I like that because you are a name and not just a number.

    The only pro I can think of are the flexible working hours.

    Cons

    Senior management are in way over their heads. They think they're better than you, and they look down on you. Such lack of respect to employees.

    Pros

    Your not micro managed. Generous with vacation time and when you can take it. Plenty of opportunity to learn new software programs and technology to gain experience. Pleasant work invironment.

    Cons

    Low salaries, limited opportunities to move unless you go into sales which has a high turn over due to continued harassment from management and commission adjustments. Definately a good old boys club environment. If your in the club you'll be happy. If your not your time will be limited and you'll be looking for another job. Not a career business. Company is suffering from trying to expand and has lost touch with it's employees.

    Advice to Management

    Increase your pay to reduce turn over. Vacation time doesn't pay the bills! Get rid of your stupid Presidents club and give the money to everyone instead of the same people. It's not an eccentive but demoralizing to 90% of your employees. You need to seriously look at making a CEO change! He's making some bad decisions.

    Pros

    Great small company to work for with great people and good benefits. My previous employer used CADD Edge as their SolidWorks VAR for many years so I was familiar with their customer service attitude and was excited for the opportunity to join their Team. The job is really what you make of it with plenty of opportunity for growth. I really love this company.

    Small company but for me, this is ideal.

    Pros

    For the most part, a lot of great people to work with at this company, although as with any company of a certain size, there are some you have to watch out for or who don't pull their weight. Reasonably good benefits, and depending on who you work for, somewhat flexible in terms of working habits/telecommuting. The upper management does seem to genuinely care about the company and for their employees, at least to a degree more than many other places I've worked.

    Cons

    Has attempted to grow too quickly in my opinion and has lost some quality people because of this, either of their own volition because of poor management decisions or through layoffs. Compensation could be better. Have kept some people who are a waste of space while letting other valuable team members go.

    Advice to Management

    Slow down a bit, avoid the growing pains.

    The company is an internal mess. Too much ego at the top makes for too many unexpected surprises among the ranks.

    Speak to key employees to get a pulse on whats going on.
