Very independent work space, almost like being in outside sales, managers generally only around at the beginning of shift

    Cons

Beverage On Demand system reduced our tips and increased the amount of trips we had to make to deliver fewer drinks

Former Employee - Beverage Server in Baltimore, MD

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Tips can be very good if you work really hard, but base ppay is only 3.72 and hour. If the people like you and they are winning, it can be great.

    Cons

Very disorganized... Management doesn't value their hard working employees. They draw for sections out of a hat. Who does such a thing? Your section also determines how much you make, Sections should be based on your performance and how hard you work. The harder you work the more they abuse you. They never have bartenders for the wells and it makes it hard to deliver your drinks in the alotted amount of time.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great guest service, great benefits and perks. Caesars has a great incentive program in which you earn points to shop with.

    Cons

Upper management does not care about their employees. They do not try to understand how the service industry works and how the casino runs with it comes to direct contact with the guest.

Universal Beverage Server in Hammond, IN

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Caesars Entertainment for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, steady schedule, accrue PTO quickly, $10/hour plus tips, tips were pretty good considering all I'm doing is making and delivering drinks and cigarettes. Great co-workers become like family, lots of employee appreciation events, fun environment, gorgeous casino, very well kept.

    Cons

Super uncomfortable uniform (corset, skirt, with nylons), lots of walking so you're whole body is sore after your work week, clientele can be pretty trashy in the slots areas, you start off on the late night shift, very repetitive work.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment for more than a year

    Pros

Very easy money and a very fun environment. Friendly staff and a great chance to meet a lot of people.

    Cons

Point system. Literally no grace period in terms of clocking in. One minute late is the same as 3 hours late. They don't take doctors notes and can fire some of their hardest workers if they so much as get sick or clock in late 7 months ago.

    I worked at Caesars Entertainment

    Pros

24 hour establishment, so many various work shifts.

    Cons

Poor management, poor pay ($3.72/hr for cocktail), casino is fighting the union on pay raises so unlikely to have a union any time soon, extremely stressful work environment, NOT WORTH IT. Anyone who can get out has gotten out.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Fun place to work. Benefits are good. Hate the fact that it is open 24/7/365. I guess that's casino life for you.

    Cons

Long crazy hours. Management is clueless as to how departments should be ran. No idea how to schedule. Always either over or under staffed.
