I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only if you absolutely have to have a job and there is nothing else at the moment. Hiring policies are lax so fairly easy to get a job

    Cons

They do not pay a living wage. The only people that can make it without having to have another job or 2 are those that can get tips. Company as a whole lacks communication and policies are followed on when wanting to single someone out. Policies are adhered to differently by shift and base on if your liked or fit into a clique.

    Advice to Management

Deal with inadequate pay and adherence to policies

I worked at Caesars Entertainment part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's much opportunity to make advancement into different jobs while working at Harrah's Casino. Without a doubt this was also where I've made the most money in my career working as a Food Server.

    Cons

This was an extremely demanding place to work because I found myself working every holiday imaginable and having almost no time to myself because I was stuck working so much. As a server inside their VIP I found myself struggling to simply get through school because I spent so much time working every week. This isn't a place to work if you intend to spend time with your family or friends during busy events or holidays because they need all the people they can get.

    Advice to Management

Allow more flexibility when it comes to transferring because waiting 3 months in a position that you dislike doesn't give employees much incentive to stay with their company.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There were so many great colleagues and professional working at Harrah's. I think what I enjoyed most was working with the people there.

    Cons

The opportunity for growth was limited. There wasn't a standard for promoting people from within. In order to grow many people have to leave to pursue upward opportunities. But what I learned while there I'll be able to take with me always.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your greatest asset and truly value them. The people are the greatest asset. Be fair to everyone. Those who are in leadership roles should be required to gain both leadership and management training and that should be held accountable for the way they treat staff.

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

To me this is truly a great place to work because they provide many benefits, the work environment is awesome...they are very encouraging and they help you in every aspect of your life. Each department is different and if you get tired of the job you have you can apply and transfer to any of the many other depts.

    Cons

It's not really a downside I just don't like the points system they use for tardies and absences....I think I could be more lax. The other thing is there should be an allowance for those in the security dept to get tips.

    Advice to Management

Continue the good job of motivating the employees but cater a bit more to the employees that help your business run in the same capacity that you do the guests.
