I worked at Caesarstone full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great insurance and a few good people I think. They laid off some pretty talented people in May...

    Cons

Israeli "specialist" and mgmt are terrible. Constantly arguing with everyone and belittle American employees. Safety issues plant wide.... No rhyme or reason to the way they conduct themselves... ALL about the Israelis

    Advice to Management

Let the Americans do their job Listen to the experienced individuals in departments Quality people deserve quality pay Learn to have annual shutdown as well as scheduled down days to benefit the equipment versus running until it blows up or breaks... It's cheaper than buying new machines and equipment in the long run.... One man cannot have his hands in every aspect of the day to day running of the entire plant!... Conflict of interest! Let department managers do what they are experienced and trained to do....

    I worked at Caesarstone

    Pros

    My coworkers, easy casual environment

    Cons

No structure, poor culture, spreadsheets and numbers is all this management cares about. Their employees are overworked, undervalued and there is no coaching or training. Onboarding for new hires is a joke. Run far away.

    Advice to Management

Show your employees you value them!!! You are losing all your valuable people that actually cared. Good luck.

I have been working at Caesarstone full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Freedom to run your market

    Cons

Company goes out of its way to pay it's employees. The comp plan is set in a way that you don't get paid. They have set unattainable goals and if you come close, they have kickers in the plan that prevent you from getting paid. I would highly recommend not working here.

    Advice to Management

    STOP LYING TO STAFF.

I worked at Caesarstone full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people and different cultures from around the world.

    Cons

No significant planning for maintenance or production. Also it's like a revolving door as far as people staying with the company.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to make sure you know your jobs and how to do them correctly. Also some of the management needs to learn people skills.

    Pros

Autonomy, brand recognition, product design, and quality.

    Cons

Poor and well below average: organizational communication, commitment to customer service, transparency, planning, sales support resources, training resources.

    Advice to Management

New management came in as I was exiting so hoping for the best for them.

I worked at Caesarstone full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Company Car & Gas Card

    Cons

Toxic company culture and the constant need to hire from outside the company has created low morale. Nobody cares about you. They demand more for less pay.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the reps in the field. Support the sales team. Train and promote within.

I worked at Caesarstone full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Caesarstone was a company that felt like home. They appreciated and took care of their employees. This has since changed and is a feeling long-gone. So are many of the tenured, long-standing employees.

    Cons

This company lost the family feel from when I started working at Caesarstone. The values were lost in the last year I was there. They stopped caring about their employees, so much so that they did not care to celebrate accomplishments, hard work and dedication, as had been done year after year at the year end celebrations. Sad to see what was happening at the company that was considered "home" to me for so long.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the staff that you have that have taken care of the company for so long. They won't be around forever.

I worked at Caesarstone full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You will have the freedom to make your own schedule and manage your territory.

    Cons

You will be micromanaged to the point of insanity. They underpay their reps, micromanage every detail and overall you are treated like you are disposable. Do not recommend!

    Advice to Management

Your employees are PEOPLE. Please treat them with respect. Pay the sales reps with commissions not capped bonuses. Let them stay in hotels that are over $100/night with tax (you're putting your employees in danger!)
