    Pros

They instill professional values and a demanding work ethic that will follow you throughout your career. It's something that others take notice of.

    Cons

They should bring back the cookie trays to boost morale. Those were awesome.

I have been working at Cahill Gordon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

i've been at cahill since the fall, after I graduated from law school, and I'm really happy to be here. I'm getting a lot of exposure working with high-profile clients in the litigation group. I'm working really hard but the partners are approachable and accessible and definitely not as egotistical as they are at other firms.

    Cons

cahill primarily works with banks - in both transactional and litigation practices - so this isn't the ideal place if you're looking to work with an extremely wide range of clients

    Advice to Management

continue to be transparent about the firm with associates.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Cahill Gordon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learn to master the basics of title review and property due diligence within a year. Good benefits. Would be a good starter job right out of college, before going back to school.

    Cons

Poor salary, poor bonus, no growth in position and responsibilities, poorly managed department, no comprehensive training program (the paralegal who has been in the department for years in charge of training you, but clearly has job security issues, won`t really explain anything in detail and doesn`t seem to know the purpose and details of the documents), Paralegal Manager is hands off, which could be a good or bad thing.

    Advice to Management

Develop a comprehensive training program, better management, create growth opportunities, better salary
