Pros
Great co-workers, good tuition benefits for staff and dependents. I enjoyed the times that we gathered as faculty/staff to celebrate the beginning of each semester.
Cons
I left of my own accord and still deeply care about Cairn. However, there seems to be a lack of understanding from the administration regarding the low pay, outdated HR policies, lack of employee care, and the patriarchy.

Decent first job-admissions

Great people to work with, great work environment, great team setting. Good benefits package, help employees get involved in activities around the school as well.
Cons
low pay, lots of turnover at the school except at VP level. Attitude in Admissions seems to be shifting and making the job more serious than in the past, probably because of pressure to bring in students.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Small size and accessibility of deans. Some excellent, thoughtful students with clear career objectives.
Cons
Seems to be a school will confused direction. In general, the educational philosophy seems to favor a style that is more like high school plus. Adjunct pay is just a hair better than volunteering. Half of what I get paid at another school.
