    Pros

100% Commission-based so you decide how hard you want to work

    Cons

Lack of communication between sales and corporate installers makes things very difficult. I lost a couple of sales because some installers were unprofessional.

    Pros

Best co-workers you could ask for. Super Bosses, if you work under Bryan Blakley, Bryan Ker, Nate McConkie, or April Mitchel you have a super boss who cares about your growth as a professional and individual.

    Cons

Hard to trust the CEO, no understanding of employee value, and plays favorites. The CEO will brush away the concerns of 5+ employees who share the same concern because he trusts his friends' word over those 5+ plus employees. Employees are told "we don't care what you and others say, said person is a good guy" Promised raises that never happen, and other promises in general that never end up happening. People in...

    Advice to Management

You have wonderful employees who are working hard to help the company achieve the highest potential, but you will continue to see them leave because they are constantly torn down by people who have power because they are close friends to the CEO, and don't care about the company just their own personal gain. Listen to what your employees who truly care about the company and want to give all they can for it have to...

I worked at Caliber Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You will gain experience working with very difficult people in very difficult situations. It's a really great skill to take into your career.

    Cons

The C-suite and executive level management are not business people, they are sales people. In my time there I watched many hard working corporate employees be treated terribly by a sales rep, and then management would take the side of the rep, and tell the employee to be better at tending to the rep's needs. It was absolutely degrading and humiliating to never have the leaders of the company back you up. Basically all...

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect. Consider their opinions before you consider a 1099 contractor's opinion. Secondly, build your sales reps into good people, not good manipulator's. The sales reps, managers and VP's are some of the most difficult people I have ever had to work with. All of them have the potential to be really hardworking, successful people AND nice people, but the company allows them to treat people...

I have been working at Caliber Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Brand name of Dish helps to sell easier on the doors -Lots if shady D2D companies out there , Caliber is not one of them . Have complete trust I’ll get paid for my work . -Uncapped income potential. Can make a lot of money off your personal sales as well as recruiting and training others to do the same .

    Cons

-Door to door sales can be tough for those without high ambition / drive . -Sometimes weather is super hot, cold, or rainy. -Must be willing to sacrifice a lot of personal life during the summer season to ensure best results .

    Pros

Great launchpad for your career. There's a lot to learn from while you're there. Some of the execs like Bryan Blakely and Nate McConkie have a lot of incredible wisdom to offer if you're willing to put in the effort to absorb it from them. Amazing coworkers. It really is probably the best part of the job. Everyone there is like family. Opportunities for service throughout the year.

    Cons

All of my feelings about this company really just boil down to trust. I do not trust the CEO, (former) COO, or most of the VPs. I like all of them, but do not trust them. I'm writing details in hopes that things can change for my friends that are still there. DishOne (now Caliber) in the past had a great culture but in the past year, there has been a shift. It used to be that employee growth and happiness was important...

    Advice to Management

You have so many capable people working for you that want to do good work. Sales Reps are not your only employees. I promise you will continue to lose good people if you don't start learning how to communicate with your corporate employees. Changing a name does not change the culture.
