RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at California Baptist University part-time for more than 3 years
Pros
If you are a student, it is very convenient I learned a lot of office skills like how to be a receptionist, process documents, and write professionally Great way to establish friendships and community with people you normally may not have had the chance to meet Flexible hours that accommodated my school schedule, supervisor was really understanding This office really cares about students and puts in extra effort, time, and energy for their international students
Cons
Minimum wage is all you are going to be able to get Our student worker team put in at least twice as much effort and work than any other student worker job on campus but didn't have any opportunities to advance or get more benefits for it Felt out of the loop of new information and would only hear second hand like the introduction of new majors or when we were scheduled to give tours
