I worked at California Coast Credit Union full-time

    Pros

Friendly people, good facilities, good systems, good location.

    Cons

After reading some of the reviews of 5, it is obvious a lot of them are fake, so beware, and the funny thing is based on the wording used, they are obvious to me who posted these from Human Resources! So with that said, this place, and it's senior management will work you to death, with extremely poor pay compared to other Credit Unions like SDCCU, and even worse pay compared to other industry sectors, but they will expect you to work non-stop until your health deteriorates because of the stress. There is NO program for training outside the CU, and continuous education is poor compared to other places. They will NOT invest in you, you will invest on THEM.

    Advice to Management

Re-design your entire senior management organization from the top down, and save your attitudes and egos for yourself, it's not for the workplace, you are NOT better than everyone else.

I have been working at California Coast Credit Union full-time

    Pros

The people are great. They also invest in your continued learning and professional development. They pay for tuition and relevant training. They have tons of great employee events and wellness related activities. The company growth also leads to a lot of advancement opportunities. They offer good benefits and a great 401k match.

    Cons

Fast growth can lead to high workloads.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible. The workforce is changing and sometimes companies need to change to accommodate that.

Really nice place to work. Great culture and people who are truly concerned about the members and employees. Treats people with respect. The work is challenging and rewarding and I'm proud to work here.

Generally fast paced environment and high service standards (which I like) but not for people who don't like people or challenge.

    Pros

Lots of growth opportunities and passionate people working here. CEO is dedicated to getting better every day and cares about employee ad leadership development.

    Cons

When you are not for profit, expenditures are difficult. Still find that there is openness to trying new things but need to be fiscally responsible.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing. On a great path. Continue to work on improved communication.
