    Hate the place, dont waste your time working here if you dont plan on staying more than 3 years

    Cons

    management is the worst in the world. every location is bad. every location!

    Advice to Management

    No advice. they all have to be fired and has to be restructured from scratch

    Fewer managers with leadership skills.
    Low pay and stressful job.

    Listen to your employees. A lot of them are leaving because of poor management.

    Not a Flexible Job, on duty til last customers leave, can be til after 6PM

    Management is great in assisting Technicians, will take customers side if a disagreement between technician and customer comes up

    Pros

    Great work-life balance.
    Friendly staffs and employers.
    No pressure on tasks/work.
    Stable job.
    Casual work style with hardly any on-call/overtime duty.
    Great place to retire.
    Good parking unlike other state agencies.
    Good vacation and benefit plans especially for long term state workers.

    Cons

    Too much politics. Sometimes supervisors and managers are left with no powers to act up front.
    Very slow paced environment leading to slow career growth.
    Poor organization of tasks and assignments.
    Lengthy hiring process as with all state agencies.

    Advice to Management

    Stop playing politics. It is ruining the organization. Rather follow standard guidelines and practices that will make the organization better. Managers be bold and step up against politically powered staffs. Develop a good culture.

    Pros

    I am very fortunate to work in an office that has good management and nice people. A pro of the job is that if you are permanent...you have job security. The benefits aren't bad.

    Cons

    Under staffed and sometimes no one is on the same page, can get frustrating. Basically, look up and find answers on your own.
