    Management, zero benefits, poor pay (<$100/night)

    Advice to Management

    Individual store management can focus too much on monthly margins that senior management expect. This gets excessive to the point of understaffing during weekend dinner rushes, causing unhappy customers and a level of expectation that is impossible to always reach.

    Pay better for what the job demands and cost of living. If you’re going to continually develop people and give them more repsonsibility, you need to be more willing to promote.

    Very clean restaurants and nice employees

    Cons

    Corporate managers “check in” every month, placing too much emphasis on factors that don’t affect how smooth the restaurant works. Cheap when it comes to buying/replacing things. Schedules come out very late.

    - Discount on shift meal
    - Super friendly and easygoing culture
    - Managers are nice and actually good at their job
    - Can train for shift lead/management

    Cons

    - make less money than other serving jobs (but what you expect from fast-casual)
    - peak university holidays means hard to get shifts covered sometimes

    Advice to Management

    Keep growing internally, and maybe get some beers that aren't IPAs!
