    State work, Union, Location, 8-hr days

    Cons

    Horrible co-workers, obnoxious and hateful rumor mill, uncaring management, work partnerships with other departments adversarial at best, blame game, cliques

    Advice to Management

    Get teams to work together, not blame each other. Stop the gossip and rumor mills. You’re aware of toxic enployees and do nothing about them.

    1. Scientists (ES) are paid 50% less than the engineers (WRCE) and geologists (EG, btw, they are scientists, too), doing the SAME work. 2. Senior ES (SES) supervisors and managers (EPM) were taken care of in July 2014, by getting a FORTY THREE PERCENT (43%) raise. Rank-and-file staff, ES and SES specialists, were left behind. 3.
