    Pros

Fun environment, friendly co-workers, got to interact with the guests, and get to make them scream or laugh. My job was to make sure that the customers were having a good time, and getting what they asked for. The pay wasn't too bad either.

    Cons

It's bad if you live far away like I did. I had to drive two hours just to get to work, and then two hours back while I was tired and it was 1 in the morning.

    Advice to Management

I felt really connected with my supervisors and all the people I came across, none of them were mean or ignored me. You kind of feel like your one of their customers because they are trying to make sure that you are having a good time.

I worked at California's Great America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work in an air conditioned room 90% of the time, you go outside maybe twice a day (not counting breaks).

Zero interaction with customers/guests (unless you count passing by them as you go to games to remove the cash; you don't have to speak to anybody while doing this).

Job usually consists of counting cash, you do this by putting the cash into a machine which counts it.

You may work at a change counter, where Great America employees come to you with cash and want it changed into other bills. But again, internal contact only; you never have to interact with the general public in this job.

    Cons

Seasonal (great america opens in March and closes in October, I think).

    Minimum wage.

Usually have to work at least one weekend day, if not both.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay for this job. Otherwise, you guys are awesome, keep up the good work!

I worked at California's Great America part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Best team ever. Very friendly employees, supervisors ,Op sups, and managers. If you like water, this is a job for you as well as the benefit to learn how to save people. No lifeguard is ever alone, there is always someone in your field of vision. What I like about this is there Phases to tell you which section you are working at. You have to be friendly, have good social interaction, and you will do just fine.

    Cons

The only part I want fixed is probably the wages at CGA or the training. After you get hired there are numerous processes you have to go through. You would have to come back and forth to get paperwork filled out.

    Advice to Management

If there is a way to do all the paper work in three days at the most then that would be better

    Pros

The people here are friendly. You get to interact with multiple customers and coworkers in a day. It is a hands-on experience that has a social aspect.

There isn't really anything that stood out to me as a negative in my time here.

    Advice to Management

The management in my department was really nice and friendly when you are doing what you are supposed to do.
