Thank you for the five-star rating! We think that Calvary is special because we have wonderful staff! Our salaries are increasingly competitive, with excellent benefits plus a pension plan.

Pros
Calvary Hospital is a good place to work as a new Nursing Assistant. Working at Calvary I was able to build my skills and resume. This is non-profit organization with decent benefits. Calvary offers tuition reimbursement, health insurance through Emblem Health as well as a pension plan. I would recommend this employer to anyone who is new and gaining experience as a Nursing Assistant. No experience is needed and Calvary will hire new graduates.
Cons
The workload may be heavy at times because of staffing shortages especially at the Brooklyn location. Be prepared to do post mortem care as this is a hospice setting. Also be prepared to deal with grieving families and frequent deaths. This job is not for the weak or faint at heart.
Calvary Hospital Response6mo
Calvary Nurses are professionals who respond to a calling to live our mission every day. It is demanding, rewarding work – and we know it is a privilege to serve patients and their families during very trying, painful times. Thanks for your review for acknowledging the work done here!
