I worked at Cambridge Consulting Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent room for advancement and you will learn a lot if you put in the effort. PTO and benefits are great as well.

    Cons

    Can't think of any cons

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Cambridge Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

semi-flexible schedule, some fun personalities that work there, great learning oppurtunity, an ok stepping stone company

    Cons

lack of upward mobilitiy, lack of job training or even job shadowing-I am used to a 'figure it out' culture but expect to get no guidance on tasks that someone in the office would very clearly know how to do but does not want to take time to show you, the "teams" are very silo'd-yes you can get help from your direct team but if I tried to collaborate work other teams it was a struggle, very much a boys club -it was suprising how segregated the company would be and how much women and men were treated differently in meetings or even social functions

    Advice to Management

Try diversifying your employees and you might have better collobration and a broader range of ideas. The same personality type will continue to contribute the same ideas. Try to broaden your horizons and open up to new ideas to move forward and adapt to the modern age.

    Pros

Very laid back, team focused environment. Everyone at the company is approachable and friendly. The company dedicates a lot of time and effort to corporate wellness and charitable giving. Every year they identify a "charity of choice" that they focus fundraising efforts and volunteering towards - volunteering is almost entirely done during business hours too. The company has a very specific culture and core values, they've gone to an unlimited discretionary time off system, casual/relaxed dress code, and have moved to downtown Royal Oak recently so there are a lot of restaurants in a walkable distance.

    Cons

Ongoing training could be improved and individuals who require a more structured environment may not be as successful as someone that is more of an independent starter.

I have been working at Cambridge Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, great culture, automatic discretionary time off after 90 days of employment, fun place to work

    Cons

Low wages, hard to move up, can be stuck in same spot for a long time without recognition

    Advice to Management

Increase overall wages, better recognition for seniority, better training for new employees

I have been working at Cambridge Consulting Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing culture, great people, relaxed environment, discretionary paid time off, flexible work schedule, phenomenal benefits.

    Cons

Low pay for entry level positions, not clear upward mobility, a lot of turnover at entry level positions due to too much responsibility at a low pay

    Advice to Management

Raise entry level salaries, better interviewing process that more clearly illustrates the responsibilities of the job.

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

Friendly co-workers, nice building flexible hours

    Cons

Management only looks out for themselves. High turn over rate. 34 people have either been fired, termed or quit in the last 2 years and the company has around 60 employees to give everyone a idea. No room for growth and low pay for the work load. Don't trust anyone.

    Advice to Management

Management should be termed. They know they keep the money at the top and pay the hard working people the bottom dollar.
