I worked at Cambridge Partners & Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours with good work life balance. Nice location in the suburbs close to public transportation.

    Cons

Below average compensation with very little access to major markets. No investment in the company by the owners with older equipment and no access to the sites that most consulting companies have. Territorial associates that do not allow access to existing client base allowing for confusion associated with job titles. Good place to start but should consider going elsewhere to further career.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your company before yourself.

I worked at Cambridge Partners & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great working environment, with very reasonable working hours, usually 40 hours per week, and never more than 50 hours per week. Summer hours are even better, as most Fridays are half day off.

    Friendly, open door management

    Cons

    Below average compensation
Small family owned business with limited exposure to capital markets and limited growth opportunities
