    Pros

    You will work in every technical area of the products. You will learn a lot. Now it is acquired by SAP.

    Cons

    Sometimes the work is stressed. Need a lot of travelling

    First experience in Canada and I have learned many thing from my supervisor.

    My duties were completely dependent my supervisor so I could not have daily or monthly plan, just I had to wait for something to do.

    Location, salary, food, Xmas party

    Cons

    President, Senior leadership team, low quality, change of strategy every month. Can't be trusted.

    Advice to Management

    Not sure who owns the company but they need to clean smoke off of the mirrors. SLTeam should be fired.

    Pros

    good location with lots of restaurants nearby and very close to 404 and 407
    decent and friendly group of people
    bbq in the summer and xmas party in the winter

    Cons

    being a tech company with no technical leadership nor innovation
    at least 25% of people with the wrong or no skill set resulting in uneven workload
    inexperienced managers with no clue how to manage projects

    Advice to Management

    replace useless roles with the right ones

    Pros

    The company worked hard to foster a good working environment, with lots of outside activities and internal activities.

    Cons

    Unexpected layoffs, micro-managers that HR can't engage, managers not receptive to new ideas.

    Empower your employees and let them make you successful.

    Good location if you live in Richmond Hill, Markham
    People are friendly
    Fitness/Yoga classes two days a week
    Good christmas parties

    Cons

    Lack of transparency
    Lack of direction
    Things can get very chaotic

    Try to listen to the people around you.

    Pros

    Nearby good restaurants
    Decent salary (not competitive though)
    Sometimes there were cakes brought by people

    Cons

    Very high expectation
    Managers and directors lie to you
    Very crappy computers (computer gets slow very often)
    Lack of format software engineering process (such as no code review)
    Hours are not flexible

    Advice to Management

    Lower expectation, put emphasis on values brought by employees

    Pros

    The office is nice, the location is ok if you are commuting
    salary is ok too, one or two people you might get along with

    Cons

    too much pressure
    not enough time
    way too much overtime

    everyone has their opinion, my was not good, some might be ok with it, but you will know right away.
    i don't recommend it if you don't have.

    Advice to Management

    you stress your employees out. i would look for people skills more than technical skills

    Pays well, located uptown, lots of cheap good food around, great people

    Cons

    Lacks process, inefficient use of staff, insufficient communication from upper management, some stubborn staff stifles creativity,

    Provide more communication to the company, do not flip flop on decisions, be open to new ideas and technologies, do not mix software development and consulting together

    Pros

    Good salary compensation. Respectful atmosphere. Younger crowd is vibrant. Professional environment.

    Cons

    Lack of direction in senior management. Too focused on satisfying every client's demands and not solving the real problem they have. Poor emphasis on quality, high emphasis on speed without design work.

    Advice to Management

    Solve real problems and issues. Clients do not know what they want. Tell them what the solution is, not make what they tell you to.
