    Pros

The only pro to them is well there is nothing good about them. Horrible company. They don't care about their employees at all.

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Treat the India team better than US team. They don't treat US employees well, they lie, take your pay, and overwork US. They lie to prospective clients as well as current clients about cost, teams of support.

    Advice to Management

Treat your US employees with respect.

    Pros

If you are an American working for their "Help Desk," you can work from home.

Turnover is high, so you can progress quickly.

    Cons

Here's the simple truth. This is something that You Need To Know.

CampusEAI is not a startup in Cleveland. CampusEAI is an Indian call center. They are based in India, specifically Gurgaon. CampusEAI has several smaller "brand names" beneath its umbrella. These names mean nothing.

The "CampusEAI Consortium" does tech support for colleges. If you work here, you will do tech support for American colleges.

The pay is low and conditions are what you would expect. CEAI is an Indian call center that tries to reach out to American workers. Your accent and the fact that you live in Eastern Standard Time is valuable to them. Beyond that, you have very little to offer the CampusEAI Consortium.

Your employer will make decisions and you will never know why. Your assignments and schedule will change without your consent, and you will never be told why.

    Advice to Management

    Choose one:

    1. Embrace your status as an American startup in the recovering city of Cleveland.

    2. Embrace your status as an Indian call center with a large number of university clients.

    Pros

Great place to start a career
Age is not a factor, you are promoted based on skills & talent
    Co-Workers become like family
Freedom to work on projects thats interest and excite you
Exposure to plethora of technologies and business solutions

    Cons

Like many IT companies it is not a 9-5 job where the clock strikes 5PM and everyone leaves.
    High turn-over in overseas branch

    Advice to Management

Work to reduce turn-over and improve Member Relationships

I have been working at CampusEAI full-time

    Pros

Very little supervision, free to do whatever you please. Product is visually appealing. You are free to speak with clients

    Cons

Overall Lack of Management. US Branch of company is led by a registered sex offender. His title is "Senior Consultant," yet he is leading the whole US office operation. Not only does he have no idea what anyone is working on, he only comes out of his office once each day to micro-manage everyone in the office and uncomfortably put them on the spot asking them what they are working on.

Company is currently trying to get everyone on contract, even though some have worked there for many years without one. Contracts themselves are one-sided and only favor the company, not the employee.

No HR Department at this company whatsoever. Unprofessional, unethical, and downright amateur company.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to what your employees are working on, and recognize them for their achievements instead of viewing them as disposable. Hire an office manager to oversee all actions on the floor and hire some HR people.

    Pros

    Jovial work environment
    Great leadership team
    Easy access to management

    Cons

    The work hours are crazy
Be prepared to be micromanaged to death
    Pay stinks
    No benefits
    No real opportunity for advancement

    Advice to Management

You must foster a work environment where one's personal time is valued as much as one's work time. You can't work someone crazy hours every week and pay peanuts. The workers will resent you. Keep the micromanaging down- it leaves competent workers wanting to kill the person who is micromanaging them.
