    Pros

Good working environment, flexibility, working hours are not too bad, vacation allotment is above average, opportunity exists to move up.

I worked at Canaccord Genuity Group full-time

    Pros

    salary was not too bad

    Cons

beware of weaponized HR. Draconian IT policies. Company is far too involved in employees personal affairs. Innovate ideas are not listened to or respected, its a bunch of yes men just saying yes to the "managing director" with the most money no matter how ludicrous and laughable the idea. They dream of getting big enough to buy out the competition rather than, actually competing. Rude and hostile managers who scream absurd comments into the phone rather than responding and thinking that the person on the other end of the line might actually have a good idea that would benefit the company and the operations.

    Advice to Management

    excuse yourself from your positions

I have been working at Canaccord Genuity Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Public company perks. ESOP, 401K match. Work life balance is good for a Wall Street shop too. The environment is also pretty cordial. People are there to help you.

    Cons

The pay is under the market. Bonuses are pretty low as well. The company has a little bit of a Frat boy (in crowd) mentality but it's Wall Street so what do you expect. There were no formal review.

    Advice to Management

Compensate the driven individuals. While votes are sticky, some of the older fat doesn't need to be massaged as much, even if they still get some votes. Have a formal review processes, you'd be surprised how much people don't know about their performance.
