I worked at Canada Goose full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free training before hiring. Big sale under 50% off.

    Cons

Do the same job for eight hours a day and everyday. It's easy and mindless, and you'll find yourself looking more and more like a machine. No learning, no growth, no promotion at all. The supervisor has no management skills, doesn't know how to manage the team and doesn't know how to communicate with the people on the team. The real reason behind this, I’ sorry to say, is that supervisor favour her employees of the...

I worked at Canada Goose full-time

    Pros

Free left overs. Free bagels on Fridays. Gym. Useless wifi

    Cons

Been hired for 3 weeks and got terminated without and warning or they will not tell you that you are behind from this so called "sewing school". . unless you are Portuguese then they will teach you well . 95% of the people that are hired at the warehouse are Portuguese.

    Advice to Management

Just hire Portuguese people from the get go. Save you time and energy.

I worked at Canada Goose full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    * 40hrs per week + Overtime(when they have extra work) * If you do good, you can get piece work(extra money) * Not that hard to work * Kinda friendly co-workers * Health benefit

    Cons

    * You're gonna do exactly the same job for 8hrs every day. It will harm to your body balance. Because they don't offer a good chair for you. * You'll see lots of immigrants and some people who is trying to get a permanent residence card. I don't wanna be a racist. But you'd better get ready to understand them. Some of them don't speak English at all. Also few of them don't want to learn English. Even they just speak...

I have been working at Canada Goose full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Annual shopping plan. Two sales every year. Free training before getting hired. Good location near downtown. Health benefits after three months.

    Cons

Low wage. High expectations in quality and performance. Too much pressure on new employees to meet the minimum efficiency. Impossible to get incentives.

    Advice to Management

Shouldn't put so much pressure on employees, it's counterproductive. Motivating employees is more effective than threats. Supervisors are not always polite.
