    Pros

    Some managers are really nice and chill
    Food breaks are good since theres mcdonalds close by
    Relaxed timings since it closes at 6

    Cons

    Some managers are really bad and hate their lives
    It gets short staffed at times and you will be required to help other departments

    Advice to Management

    Relax a bit, try to get your own workers on time instead of asking workers from other departments for help while they're doing the job for their own manager

    As fulltime employee your job is save but as management position when ever new owner change your job is not save only if he bring his staff with him.

    I worked at Canadian Tire part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible shifts, good pay and great co workers.

    They were than supportive with time off for studies.

    Managers were awesome. Training was great. Staff discounts.

    Cons

    When customers would continue shopping after close. In call shifts sucked. Had to sit at home until a certain time before the would call.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up being awesome with employees.

    Pros

    Working for a fast paced retail environment, having a big impact on the business.

    Cons

    Salary lower than industry average. High workload and responsibility. Poor Training program. 30 month minimum term before transitioning into new role.

    Advice to Management

    I would recommend updated your training program to be more line specific, and increasing salaries.

    Able to listen to the radio and drink coffee while working.

    Cons

    No appreciation for the amount of work done and always expected to do more despite your hard efforts. Unrealistic expectations for deadlines. Hostile coworkers.

    Advice to Management

    No advice, they clearly don't care.

    Pros

    Always something to do, Good Exercise, Good Hours, Not very Stressful, Flexible Hours, Most staff are friendly, Most management is friendly.

    Cons

    There are some staff that should have been fired years ago, as well as some managers. Lots of politics as well as arguments that you are expected to side with.

    Its a nice paced environment with some really nice colleagues. Managers are friendly and are willing to teach when needed.

    Cons

    Some lazy long time employees would make you reconsider working hard.

    Pay attention to those that devote themselves to the store and appreciate them.

    Big company. Great benefits and great culture.

    Cons

    Don't pay well especially to employees who have been with the company for a long time. Don't get recognition for the hard work in terms of raise or job opportunities.
