Strong sense of belonging
May 12, 2023 - Talent Acquisition in Wilton, CTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
My experience at Cannondale has been nothing short of exceptional. From day one, I felt an incredibly strong bond with my coworkers, creating a sense of belonging that I have never experienced before in any other workplace. The level of camaraderie and genuine connection here is truly remarkable. One of the standout aspects of Cannondale is the unwavering dedication of its employees to fostering a warm and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through the door. As a newcomer to the cycling world, I had concerns about fitting in, but those worries were quickly dispelled. Instead, I discovered that my peers were genuinely thrilled to share their wealth of knowledge and provide unwavering support throughout my cycling journey. This was especially evident when I joined my first group ride. Despite my initial nervousness about falling behind, my fellow coworkers were incredibly understanding and went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable. They not only hung back and encouraged me but also took the time to check in on how I was doing and engaged in light-hearted banter, which was a wonderful distraction while pedaling uphill. It's clear that extending a hand is a fundamental values that is deeply ingrained in the company culture. Whether you've been a part of the cycling game for years, or a newbie like me, you can rest assured that you'll find a network of colleagues who have your back and are genuinely invested in helping you thrive. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible team at Cannondale, where every day feels like a step closer to realizing my true potential. This is a company that truly cares about its employees, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join.

Company does not invest in their employees
Jan 17, 2023 - Technical Services Manager in Wilton, CTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You can buy cheap bikes. I was able to move up but was ultimately pushed into a role not right for me and nor supported through transition.
Cons
Low pay for the responsibility, even compared to other bike industry roles. The company provides very little training for employees yet expects expertise from day one. Salaried employees are expected to work well beyond their 40 hours. Very little cross-department cooperation, often making contentious relationships with peers and coworkers. Often placed in immoral positions interacting with direct employees and end-users but asked to put aside beliefs and put the company first. Managed a 12 million dollar budget but made $50k/year. The company bragged about record breaking profits but denied raises to myself and any employees saying "we don't have the money".

Great perks but leaders not open
Jul 26, 2022 - Business Development ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great perks with company being lax about working on site, except in HQ in Europe which seems to run by different rules
Cons
The culture is very boys club, starting with the senior management team. If you aren't in agreement with what the top thinks, you need to keep quiet and keep tour head down. Dealers are great to work with and the sales meetings are great but its run by the hand of the top person not inclusive especially for me as a woman in sales.

White men only. All others stay away
Jul 2, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Norwalk, CTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Some nice people among the ranks
Cons
Bros only here. Not one woman in a leadership position. Not one. A couple of women in junior HR positions and project management. The marketing talks about equality but the culture and the employee make up screams “white men only”
