    Pros

    Easy training and wonderful and employees! The days go by so fast it's 5 before I know it!

    Cons

    They do not offer any overtime and I would love to stay longer!

    Advice to Management

    Have one person train not multiple people and have them trained correctly!

    Pros

    The ability to move around in roles is great.

    Cons

    You are a contractor worker at other companies. There is no stability. Your title is almost irrelevant as you're categorized into two groups, a BSA or BSS. Has high turn-over. I have had 6 managers in 4 years. Pay is below market.

    Advice to Management

    Invest more into employees and make them feel like they are an employee of Canon and not just a consultant. If someone's role gets eliminated due to contractors restructure and you cannot place them elsewhere... they just get notice and no severance. It's like working in fear. This is why there is such high turnover.

    Pros

    Good work/life balance; decent benefits and 401k

    Cons

    Poor and abrasive communications between legal, finance and Operations which creates a tense and frustrating work environment. Lack of billing procedures in place which means easy and careless error making. Dysfunctional leadership which enables managers to minimize good workers as is normal office culture at CBPS.

    Advice to Management

    Create an effective open door policy for each department. HR needs more ER involvement within each department. Upgrade systems used in finance/billing. Emotional Intelligence training is highly recommended as many of the workers, exempt and non exempt are either depressed, emotional and or angry.

    Pros

    you get paid I think, I'll have to let you know later since its biweekly and they hold back nearly a month!

    Cons

    too many "hoops" to jump through, invasion of privacy, they lie right up front, time keeping practices SUCK, their software works only part of the time, offer NO HELP when your a new hire, DO NOT answer questions timely, INSANE amount of "onboarding" .. RUN in the other direction. This entity, once you are hired, treats you like a slave!!

    This is another greedy corporation that should collapse on itself and die

    Pros

    Canon is a great place to build networking skills and make lasting relationships with clients and coworkers. It’s a great way to gain administrative skills and to learn how to work as a team.

    Cons

    Unfortunately management will sometimes listen more to the client and not their own employees. They will give a single employee heavy loads of work just to please their clients.

    Advice to Management

    Please do not keep throwing more and more work on individual employees just to keep your clients happy. It really burns out employees quickly and as a result there is always a high turnover rate.

    Significant down time. Obtaining full-time status in order to receive benefits is difficult if you're a part-timer.
