    Pros

    People is a core asset: friendliness is a general quality.
    Work / Life balance is perfected.
    Interesting challenges.
    Great exposure to local business practices.

    Cons

    Working in a multinational environment can be challenging, specially if you are not used to it (it may take a while, but the environment is friendly, so it is really up to you).
    Not many perks / benefits.
    Depending on the area, your workload can fluctuate.

    Pros

    Good variety of work, ability to shape your own role.
    Plenty of travel opportunities, particularly at the beginning of my time there. Less so in later years. Flexible working hours.

    Cons

    Some very difficult Line Managers. Limited career progression.

    Listen to your employees more!

    Great Location and a Lovely environment

    Cons

    Reaction times are a bit slow and some areas require more skilled people. The re organisation was definitely needed.

    Decent Holiday 26 days
    Private medical insurance
    Decent company vehicles
    Junior management is very good
    Head office is very nice

    Cons

    Poor senior management, directors last as about as long as a Chelsea manager
    Constant and idiotic restructures that damage morale and cause poor team harmony
    Wages are poor now with poor payrises
    Poor morale
    Culture of apathy

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff and stop idiotic restructures dvery time a new director is appointed

    Pros

    Global and well renowned imaging brand with wide ranging product & services portfolio.
    Great and well designed (quality/environmental/safety) products.
    Employee discount on range of Canon products.
    Fantastic UK Head Office (Reigate) facilities and grounds.

    Cons

    Removal of final salary pensions scheme.
    Salary not competitive with other (like for like) roles.
    Some staff who carry out limited business travel are given company cars (or allowance).
    Due to size of organisation often slow for initiatives/policies to be implemented or moved forwards.

    Advice to Management

    Acknowledge or recognise staff qualities and compensate them accordingly (either via salary/benefits).
    Raise awareness and portfolio of the Canon brand more to increase sales and revenue (other competitors are more evident and in the public space).
