    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Cantor Fitzgerald full-time for more than a year

    Pros

you can work independently. No formal Process involved once initial authorization provided. you can learn new stuff. lot of technologies are being used here.

    Cons

No work life balance. No flexibility in working hours. benefits are not good. no rise in salaries. Bonus components are bad.

    Advice to Management

keep the flexibility in working hours and productivity will increase a lot. I saw lots of iteration in finance department and it increase the cost of the company. Direct cost may not be high. But Cantor has huge indirect cost and causing the productivity loss.

I worked at Cantor Fitzgerald part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Cantor has excellent pay and benefits. If you have a rational boss (as I did), then the experience is much better. There are very clear metrics for success, i.e. the amount of profit your group has brought in.

    Cons

Unfortunately, fulfillment is entirely one dimensional in this line of work. As long as you are happy with a contest of points, then its a good place to be. If you want broader intellectual or spiritual fulfillment, then this is not the place to be.
