    Pros

People here are great and have active communities for employee interests. Work can be good if you have the right network.

    Cons

Training and leadership visibility to lower levels needs improvement.

    Advice to Management

Should hold internal management more responsible and compliant to same policies as delivery. Need to be more connected with lower level employees to better address issues/opportunities for improvement. Need to invest more in employees and further enable them to succeed.

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are some really smart and talented people in the organization. They tend to be at the lower rungs of the organization. There's not much room for "new blood" at the top.

    Cons

A lot of the management is remnants of the Ernst & Young days and stuck in their ways. They rely on the same playbook from 10-15 years ago though the marketplace has definitely changed. It has created an organization that is less progressive than the firms it views as it peers. Management tends to play it safe. There is a lot less innovation in the consulting ranks than you see at peer firms. For many, Capgemini is an "also-ran" not a market leader.

    Advice to Management

Be open to change. Take more calculated risks. Invest in developing practices to support new technologies beyond standing up an organizations as placeholders. Make rooms for fresh leadership or at least be open to ideas of

    Pros

Great Pay, will wear a lot of hats your first year. While these jobs may not be glamorous (think Project Management Office Work) you will learn a lot and grow rapidly.

    Cons

Almost no work life balance, always expected to be available, this can even include phone calls with the offshore team in India at 11:00pm at night. Older consultants treat young people with little to no respect. Roles can be poorly defined and staff are often overworked without hours being tracked (ghosting). This can cause the hardest workers to be ignored. It really is a place where who you know counts more than what you unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Stop constantly re-organizing the company, and create a sustainable consistent business model. Most consultants past their first year don't know which business unit they are in, or what their title even is. Make it mandatory for senior managers to share Statements of work with lower tier consultants so they know what their scope of work is, and how many hours they should be billing.
