I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Leading clients in Financial domain with mostly low end execution projects. Testing being a forte is not good enough. In the era of Data science and machine learning we need to proceed fast.

    Cons

Project based hiring and being billable at very senior level dampens the spirit of competency development and leadership in niche areas of analytics.

    Advice to Management

Manage revenue through thought leadership not just invoicing customers at high rate and low quality output.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's literally your average desk job (if that's what you're looking for); unique puzzle solving w/ claims review. They allow you to listen to music (headphones) while you work to increase focus and decrease distractions and talking among coworkers.

    Cons

Too much control; virtually no talking allowed w/ other coworkers whatsoever; closely monitored breaks/lunches and production numbers. You work for a client in the same building as you - so everyone from Cap including your managers must constantly be on their best behavior; very strict overall; rigid work environment

    Advice to Management

Accept suggestions from your inferiors. Make them feel like they're at least somewhat part of the decision making process. Don't treat us like children and micro-manage every single little thing.

    Pros

Smart people, autonomous work, flexible hours and telecommuting

    Cons

When country revenue targets are not being met people get laid off at the drop of a dime and you don't find out until you send an email to someone and it bounces back to you.

    Advice to Management

Stronger long term investment in your people is required.
